If you are creative, reliable, scary, enthusiastic and fun, volunteer with us! We have many opportunities for mature and responsible individuals (adults and youth 15+) to join our Scream Team. A great way to be engaged with your community while having fun!
Community Hours: High school students can obtain community service hours by volunteering with the Cannington Haunted Trail and Barn.
Scare Actors are the core of our attractions. Some roles require outgoing, lively characters with dialogue, while others are less animated. Auditions and training may be required.
Don’t care to be in the limelight? Consider working props behind the scene (i.e., pulley system, sound effects, etc.)
Become part of our make-up team and turn our guys and gals into ghouls. Previous experience with creative make-up an asset.
Ticket Attendant: FULL
Greet and direct guests as they arrive, scan tickets, and answer any questions guests may have. A polite, friendly and calm demeanor are a must.
Organize guests into appropriate group sizes. You will need excellent people skills and the ability to address any disruptions within the queue line.
A very important role this year! You will be responsible for cleaning high-touch services throughout the night (picnic tables, portable washrooms, two railings in attractions).
Safety of our volunteers and guests is a high priority. Responsible adults are needed to respond quickly in the event of misconduct or emergency.
Construction experience an absolute must. Construction of maze and trail sets October 16-17. Tear down of maze and trail sets October 31.
This role requires physical stamina. Some construction necessary. Setup/teardown of scenes and grounds and basic running around getting last minute jobs done. Setup of scenes and grounds October 19-21 and teardown October 31.
